Who am I?

I am Lina Surpliene and I am here to help you teach your kids financial freedom – one of the most important things in life! I am raising three kids myself, so I know how important and yet difficult it is.

What is my “why”?

I created this website for 2 reasons.

Firstly, I love teaching kids. We have 3 of them – Faustas (9 years), Elisabeth (6 years) and Konstantinas (1 year). Seeing how they learn something – ride a bike, swim, make a bed, read – is a miracle for me. The list of things I want (and actually have!) to teach them is endless.

Secondly, one day I was horrified to understand that my children were… well, spoiled. They have too many toys, too many gadgets and too much of entertainment. I realised that they don’t understand the value of money and they don’t really want anything.

At that point I understood that
I fail in teaching kids financial freedom. This childhood experience could lead them to financial difficulties in the future.

I do not want that for my kids. And I do not want that for your kids either.

I have one dream – to see your and my kids growing financially free.

That’s why I started my research and I want to share it with you.

Who are we?

I have been working in tax consulting area for more than 10 years now. Financial education is my hobby.

Faustas is very interested in money. He has already tried to earn money in various ways – by selling lemonade to his neighbours, sweets to his classmates, berries to passersby or by playing the violin at school. I can see entrepreneurship spirit in him and I hope he will be able to keep it burning as years go by.

Elisabeth is more into dancing and pets (cats and dogs). I do not want to be stereotypical though, so I will make sure to give her all possibilities to discover herself.

Konstantinas is too small now to show his true interests. I am so excited to see what kind of person he will grow up!

My mom and my brother both are entrepreneurs whom I was able to learn from in my childhood and I am learning from them now.

I invite you to join me in this wonderful journey of thousand miles. Start from taking a test to assess how good you are at teaching your kids financial freedom.

Sincerely yours –

Lina
